What is SBI YONO app?
Yono (You only need one), is an integrated digital banking application offered by SBI bank to meet its customer’s lifestyle to banking requirements.
It aims to be a one-stop solution for banking, lifestyle, insurance, investments and shopping needs. Apart from Digital banking products, the application will provide an online marketplace to access a wide range of “Beyond Banking” products from multiple e-Commerce merchant partners. Many things can be done through Yono App including applying for loans, opening a digital saving bank account, or even shopping online. Moreover, other financial product offerings such as Sbi cards, sbi securities, Sbi Mutual funds, Sbi general and life insurance will be incorporated in the SBI Yono app. Apart from this, you can easily make fund transfer and can take loans/ or overdraft facility on fixed deposit through this app without visiting their Branches.
Yono is one of a kind digital banking platform and offers customised products under one roof, including offers and deals from more than 60 e-commerce players.
How to Download YONO SBI app?
Yono can be downloaded from Google playstore on all android device and can be downloaded on Apple app store on iOS platforms.
How to Register on SBI YONO app?
Step 1: Login to Sbi Yono app with your online sbi credentials or account details including ATM card.
Step 2: Enter account details such as ATM card details, ATM pin and then Submit.
Step 3: Give consent for MPIN and setup a 6 digit MPIN that can be used for login future.
Step 4: After setting up MPIN, you will receive the OTP on your registered number, enter the same and then click next.
Step 5: You have successfully registered and now can explore all the features.
How to Open SBI Yono Digital account?
Step 1: Login to SBI Yono app
Step 2: At the home screen choose option “Open New Digital Account” and select either Digital Saving account or an “Insta Saving Account”
Step 3: Once you have chosen the type of account you want top open, click on “Apply Now”
Step 4: Proceed further and read the product information. Then click ‘Next’.
Step 5: Keep your Aadhar card* and Pan card handy. Proceeds to fill in your basic details like Email id, Mobile number, referral code (Optional).
NOTE: As SBI’s one-stop solution platform ‘YONO’ for the online access of all banking services has suspended digital account opening through Aadhaar following the Supreme Court’s order. YONO app has disabled the facility of opening a paperless bank account temporarily, customers are required to visit a branch to open an account
SBI bank also recently launched Yono cash facility for its customers, which will allow them to withdraw cash from ATMs without using their Debit cards. This cash withdrawal service will be available across 16,500 ATMs, and will be called as Yono cash point.
How to withdraw cash using SBI YONO app?
SBI customers can initiate withdrawal process from their smartphone by using the Yono app without debit or credit cards. After installing the Yono app, Account holders will have to set a 6 Digit Yono pin for withdrawing cash from ATMs. They will also get the Reference number for the transaction on their registered Mobile no via Sms. The cash withdrawal process have to be completed at nearest ATMs or Yono cash point within 30 min using both PIN and the reference number.
